No hay límite de tiempo y espacio para dedicarse a la contemplación del Señor Omnipresente. Para esto, no hay nada mejor que un lugar sagrado y un momento especial. Cualquiera sea el sitio en que la mente se complazca en la contemplación de la Divinidad ¡ése es el lugar sagrado! Cada vez que lo hace ¡ése el momento favorable! En ese lugar y tiempo se debe meditar en el Señor. Por eso las escrituras revelan, ‘Para meditar en Dios, no hay momento ni lugar fijo. Cuando y donde la mente lo desee, allí y entonces es el tiempo y lugar.’ (Na kaala niyamo yathra, na deshasya sthalasya cha Yathrasya ramathe chittham, thathra dhyanena kevalam). El mundo puede lograr la prosperidad por medio de almas disciplinadas cuyos corazones son puros y que representan la sal de la tierra. Para promover el bienestar del mundo, todos deberían, desde este mismo instante, orar por el advenimiento de
esos personajes santos, y merecen tener las bendiciones de los grandes, y olvidar los sufrimientos de la vida diaria. (Prema Vahini, Cap. 73)

 

There are no limitations of time or space for the establishment of oneself in the contemplation of the Omnipresent Lord. For this, there is nothing like a holy place or a special time. Wherever the mind revels in contemplation of the Divine that is the holy place! Whenever it does so, that is the auspicious moment! Then and there, one must meditate on the Lord. Hence scriptures reveal, ‘To meditate on God, there is no fixed time or place. When and where the mind so desires, then and there is the time and place!’ ( Na kaala niyamo yathra, na deshasya sthalasya cha Yathrasya ramathe chittham, thathra dhyanena kevalam). The world can achieve prosperity through disciplined souls whose hearts are pure and who represent the salt of the earth. To promote the welfare of the world, from this very minute, everyone should pray for the advent of such holy personages, and deserve the blessings of the great, and forget the sufferings of your daily living.

Cuando el Dharma se casa con un alma tan grande como la Verdad (Sathya), nacen los hijos de la Sinceridad (Shraddha), la Compasión (Daya), la Paz (Shanti), la Prosperidad (Pushti), el Contento (Santushti), el Progreso (Vriddhi), la Modestia (Lajja) , el Honor (Gouravam) y la Liberación (Mukti). Examínense cuidadosamente a ustedes mismos, si son de la anterior estirpe del Dharma o de la de la Ignorancia (Mithya) y la Iniquidad (Adharma). Cuando practiquen asiduamente el Dharma, la Divinidad dentro de ustedes se manifestará de forma espontánea. No limiten el Dharma a meras palabras. Ustedes son la encarnación misma de la rectitud. Pero no serán dignos de esta denominación si no llevan una vida de Dharma. Todos deben darse cuenta de que alcanzar la unidad con la Divinidad es la meta de la vida humana. Por lo tanto es su deber primordial el desarrollar la fe en la Divinidad. Con fe, llevarán
una vida dedicada a Dharma, Sathya y Neethi (Rectitud, Verdad y Justicia), y lograrán el propósito de su nacimiento. (Discurso Divino, 19 de enero de 1984)

 

Dharma when wedded to great a soul called Truth (Sathya), the children of Earnestness (Shraddha), Compassion (Daya), Peace (Shanti), Prosperity (Pushti), Contentment (Shanthushti), Progress (Vriddhi), Modesty (Lajja), Honour (Gouravam) and Liberation (Mukthi) will arise. Carefully examine yourself, if you are from the above Dharma lineage or from that of Ignorance (Mithya) and Unrighteousness (Adharma). When you assiduously practice Dharma, the Divinity within you will manifest itself spontaneously. Do not limit Dharma to mere words. You are the very embodiment of righteousness. But you will not be worthy of this appellation if you do not lead a life of Dharma. Everyone must realise that to attain oneness with Divinity is the goal of human life. Hence it is your primary duty to develop faith in the Divine. With faith, you will lead a life devoted to Dharma, Sathya and Neethi (Righteousness, Truth and Justice), and achieve the purpose of your birth.

Dediquen su tiempo al servicio del mundo, con fe en el Señor, independientemente de sus frutos. Así serán bendecidos. De lo contrario, aunque el cuerpo pueda estar inactivo, la mente estará muy ocupada, realizando actos por su cuenta. Las personas con este tipo de mentes son víctimas de Karma, ¡a pesar de su no hacer nada! Cuando una persona tiene la mente fija en la contemplación de Dios y la búsqueda de la verdad, aunque el cuerpo y los sentidos realicen actos que son de servicio al mundo, no se verá afectada por ellos; aunque realiza acciones (karma), sigue siendo no realizadora de acciones. Esta es la lección del Bhagavad Gita. El corazón de la persona que no se esfuerza por cultivar la mente con pensamientos sagrados, con seguridad será el paraíso del mal y la perversidad. Todo el que espera ascender a la grandeza, busca concentrado en una sola
dirección y aspira a la salvación, debe tener esto en cuenta. Solo la sabiduría espiritual es la causa de la liberación. (Prema Vahini, Capítulo 72)

 

Devote your time to the service of the world, with faith in the Lord, regardless of its fruits. Then you become blessed. Otherwise, though the body may be inactive, the mind will be very busy, committing acts on its own. People with such minds fall prey to karma in spite of their not doing anything! When a person has the mind fixed on contemplation of God and the pursuit of truth, though the body and senses do acts that are of service to the world, they won’t be affected by them; though they do actions (karma), they are still non-doers of action. This is the lesson from Bhagavad Gita. The heart of the person who doesn’t strive to cultivate the mind with holy thoughts is certain to be the paradise of evil and wickedness. Everyone who hopes to rise to greatness, seeks one-pointedness and aspires for salvation, must bear this in mind. Spiritual wisdom alone is the cause of liberation. (Prema Vahini, Ch 72)

En el mundo la progenie de Dharma y Adharma (la rectitud y la iniquidad) están creciendo continuamente. Consideren este linaje: La Iniquidad (Adharma) se casó con la falsa ilusión (Mithya). Mithya no es ni verdad ni mentira. Esta pareja tuvo dos hijos, un hijo llamado Ahamkara (egoísmo) y una hija llamada Moha (infatuación). Ya que ambos son los hijos de la Ignorancia, sin capacidad de juzgar qué es lo correcto y lo incorrecto, la nefasta alianza entre ellos resultó en el nacimiento de Lobha (avaricia) y Vanchana (engaño) como hija e hijo. De la ilegítima unión de estos dos, nacieron Irshya (los celos) y Krodha (la ira). De su unión, nacieron Bheeti (el miedo) y Mrityu (la muerte). Este linaje se conoce como Adharma Santhathi (la progenie de la iniquidad). A partir de este linaje de la Iniquidad, toda unión es inadecuada. (Discurso Divino 19 de enero de 1984)

 

In the world the progeny of Dharma and Adharma (Righteousness and Unrighteousness) are continually growing. Consider this lineage: Unrighteousness (Adharma) married delusion (Mithya). Mithya is neither truth nor untruth. This couple had two children, a son called Ahamkara (egoism) and a daughter called Moha (infatuation). As both are the children of Ignorance, with no capacity to judge what is right and wrong, the unholy alliance between them resulted in the birth of Lobha (avarice) and Vanchana (deceit) as son and daughter. From the wrongful union of these two, Irshya (jealousy) and Krodha (anger) were born. Out of their union, Bheeti (fear) and Mrityu (death) were born. This lineage is known as Adharma Santhathi (the progeny of unrighteousness). Following this lineage of Unrighteousness, every union is improper. (Divine Discourse, 19 Jan 1984)
