El Señor valora tu actitud detrás de cada acción. Yad bhavam, tad bhavati- te conviertes en lo que sientes. En consecuencia, transmuten cada acto en adoración y deriven el máximo de alegría. Sai está en cada ser; Entonces no menosprecien a nadie. Reverencien y sirvan todo con el máximo de su capacidad. Cuando alguien les pida agua para saciar su sed y le ofrezcan un vaso, sientan que Me la están ofreciendo a Mí; Entonces ese acto los purifica y limpia. No es una persona necesitada a quien están sirviendo, están sirviendo a Dios que está en ustedes y ellos. Karma (acción) es la flor y Jnana (sabiduría) es el fruto. La flor se convierte en fruto con el tiempo cuando la mantienen libre de plagas. El carbón es madera que fue quemada atravesando un bautismo de fuego. Con el tiempo el carbón se vuelve blanco, cenizas livianas y vuela con
el viento. Purifiquen su mente rigurosamente en el fuego de la sabiduría hasta que obtengan el éxito.

The Lord values your attitude behind every action. Yad bhavam, tad bhavati – you become what you feel. Hence transmute every act into worship and derive maximum joy. Sai is in every being; so do not slight anyone. Revere and serve all to the best of your ability. When someone asks for water to quench their thirst and you offer them a cup, feel that you are offering it to Me; then, that act purifies and cleanses you. It is not the person in need that you serve, you are serving God who is in you and them. Karma (action) is the flower and Jnana (wisdom) is the fruit. The flower becomes fruit in fullness of time when you guard it free from pests. Charcoal is wood that was burnt under the baptism of fire. With time, charcoal transforms to white, light ash that flies in the wind. Rigorously purify your mind in the fire of wisdom until you gain success. (Divine Discourse, Nov 22, 1967)

Convénzanse que el Señor está en ustedes, como su auriga, sosteniendo las riendas de los cinco caballos (los sentidos) y dándoles consejo constantemente, como Él lo hizo cuando Arjuna le rogó para que lo condujese y guiase. A partir de ello es fácil para ustedes convencerse que el mismo auriga está conduciendo y guiando a todos los demás. Cuando están establecidos firmemente en esta fe, se vuelven libres de odio y maldad, avaricia y envidia ira y apego. Oren al Señor para que fortalezca esta convicción y esta fe; Él abrirá sus ojos a la Verdad y les revelará que ÉL es el Sanathana Sarathi (Conductor Eterno) en todo. Dicha revelación les conferirá una bienaventuranza incomparable y les concederá afabilidad hacia la multiplicidad de la creación. Sepan que Él es su fuerza, aliento, inteligencia y gozo-

Convince yourself that the Lord is in you, as your charioteer, holding the reins of the five horses (the senses) and giving you constant counsel, as He did when Arjuna prayed to Him to lead and guide. Then it becomes easy for you to convince yourself that the self-same charioteer is leading and guiding everyone else. When you are established in this faith firmly, you become free of hate and malice, greed and envy, anger and attachment. Pray to the Lord to strengthen this conviction and this faith; He will open your eyes to the Truth and reveal to you that He is the Sanathana Sarathi (Eternal Charioteer) in all. That revelation will confer on you incomparable bliss and grant you kinship with the creation’s manifoldness. Know Him as your strength, your breath, your intelligence, your joy – He becomes all of this for you. He will direct all your senses, mind, consciousness and intelligence towards the highest Goal; His Grace will confer all you need.

Ustedes deben cultivar el amor hacia todos, sin importar cuál sea su carácter o capacidad. A pesar de que la misma sangre fluye a través de todo el cuerpo, el ojo no puede oler, el oído no puede saborear, la nariz no puede ver y así. Entonces no amplifiquen las diferencias ni peleen unos con otros. Enfaticen la hermandad básica de la humanidad, el principio de amor. You must cultivate love towards everyone, however distinct the character and capacity of each may be. Though the same blood flows through the entire body, the eye cannot smell, the ear cannot taste, the nose cannot see, and so on. So, do not amplify the distinctions and quarrel with one another. Emphasize upon the basic brotherhood of mankind and the principle of love. Just like sugar that is fully dissolved in the cup of water is invisible, but patent to the tongue in every drop, so too the Divine is invisible but immanent; He is capable of being experienced in every individual, whether rich, poor, educated or illiterate. Repeat the names of the Lord (Namasmarana) incessantly. Dwell on His glory and compassion which those names reveal to you. Taste the sweetness that is in the heart of every one. Then, it will be easier for you to visualise Him in all, to love Him in all, and to adore Him in all. (Divine Discourse, Jul 31, 1967)
