¡Encarnaciones del Amor Divino! Si desean asegurar paz genuina en el mundo, no deberían albergar antipatía hacia ninguna religión. Deben sostener la moralidad (neeti) como lo supremo en su comunidad (iati). Deben atesorar los buenos sentimientos como más importantes que las creencias religiosas. El cuidado mutuo (Mamata), la imparcialidad (samata) y la contención (kshamata) son cualidades de base esenciales para todo ser humano. Un verdadero ser humano es aquel que cultiva estas tres cualidades sagradas. Desháganse del interés personal y el auto centrismo. Desarrollen amor, paciencia y compasión. Vivan armoniosamente. El servicio a los necesitados debería ser su principio guía. No debería haber lugar para ningún tipo de diferencia al dar servicio. Cuando desean servir a la sociedad, deben estar preparados para sacrificar sus intereses individuales y
comunitarios. A través de tal sacrificio pueden sublimar sus vidas. Las escrituras (Vedas) enfáticamente han declarado que la inmortalidad puede ser obtenida solamente por medio del sacrificio (tyaga). Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Divino Discurso del 25 de diciembre de 1990.

 

Embodiments of Divine Love! If you desire to secure genuine peace in the world, you should not have any antipathy towards religion. You must hold morality (neeti) as superior to your community (jati). You must cherish good feelings as more important than religious beliefs. Mutual regard (Mamata), equal-mindedness (samata) and (kshamata) are essential foundational qualities for every human being. A true human being is one who cultivates these three sacred qualities. Get rid of all self-interest and self-centeredness. Develop love, forbearance and compassion. Live harmoniously. Service to the needy should be your guiding principle. There should be no room for any kind of differences in rendering service. When you wish to serve society, you must be prepared to sacrifice your individual and communal interests. Through such sacrifice you can sublimate your life. Scriptures (Vedas) have emphatically declared that immortality can be attained only through

Cuando la gente no coloca la fe en el Ser, sino que solo corre tras los sentidos, se enciende una luz de peligro y el Señor envía un mensajero o viene Él mismo si es necesario para dar un gran paso en la reconstrucción. Arjuna olvidó las bases del Ser; Ravana actuó en contra de ellas. El mundo está siendo construido sobre los cimientos arenosos de los sentidos. En consecuencia, los avatares descienden. Al igual que el mono que no podía sacar su mano de la vasija de cuello angosto, porque tenía agarrado un puñado de maníes que había dentro, la gente está sufriendo hoy en día, a causa de que no están dispuestos a soltar las cosas placenteras que han obtenido del mundo. La gente es conducida hacia la creencia errónea de que la acumulación de posesiones materiales les otorgará gozo y calma. Pero solamente Prema (Amor Divino) puede
dar gozo eterno. Solamente Prema puede quitar la ira, la envidia y el odio.

When people do not place faith in the Self but pursue the senses only, danger signal is lit and the Lord sends a Messenger or comes Himself, if a great big step in reconstruction has to be taken. Arjuna forgot the basis of the Self, Ravana went against it. The world is building itself up on the sandy foundation of the sensory world. So, Avatars descend. Like the monkey which could not pull its hand from out of the narrow-necked pot, because it first held in its grasp a handful of groundnuts which the pot contained, people are suffering today, since they are unwilling to release their hold on the handful of pleasurable things they have grasped from the world. People are led into the wrong belief that the accumulation of material possessions will endow them with joy and calm. But Prema (Divine Love) alone can give that everlasting joy. Prema alone can remove anger, envy and hatred!

Si van a visitar lugares sagrados como si fueran de pícnic, sin la necesaria preparación mental para recibir la gracia de Dios, ustedes serán un estorbo, desvirtuando la atmósfera de los sagrados sitios. Van de un lado a otro como encomiendas postales, recolectando sellos en la envoltura, no en lo interno de su ser. No están permitiendo que la santidad del lugar actúe sobre su mente. Como resultado de la peregrinación, sus hábitos deben cambiar para bien, su perspectiva debe ampliarse, su visión interior debe profundizarse y estabilizarse. Deben darse cuenta de la omnipresencia de Dios y la unidad de la humanidad. Deben aprender tolerancia y paciencia, caridad y servicio. Una vez terminado el peregrinaje, sentados en su casa para rememorar sus experiencias, deben decidirse a buscar la experiencia más elevada, más rica y más real: la de hacerse conscientes de Dios. Los
bendigo para que puedan tomar esta decisión y esforzarse paso a paso hasta alcanzar esa meta. (Divino Discurso, 28 de febrero de 1964)

 

If you visit holy places like going for a picnic without necessary mental preparation to receive God’s Grace, you will be a nuisance, spoiling the atmosphere of the sacred place. You go from place to place, like postal parcels, collecting impressions on the outer wrapper, not on the core of your being. You do not allow the holiness of the place to act on your mind. As a result of the pilgrimage, your habits must change for the better, your outlook must widen, your inward look must become deeper and become more steady. You must realise the omnipresence of God, and the Oneness of Humanity. You must learn tolerance and patience, charity and service. After the pilgrimage is over, sitting in your own home and ruminating over your experiences, you must determine to seek the higher, the richer and the more real experience of God-realisation. I bless you that you may form that determination and strive step by step to achieve that Goal. (Divine

Un hogar está lleno de amor, con el sacrificio que el amor implica, la alegría que el amor irradia y la paz que el amor imparte. La estructura de ladrillos y argamasa en que padres e hijos pasan la vida, es una casa, no un hogar; los hijos no la anhelan y tampoco los padres hallan paz en ella. En sus hogares, una disciplina que todos ustedes deben seguir es: ¡el control de los sentidos! Si les dan rienda suelta, los arrastrarán a la desgracia. La educación debe hacerlos a ustedes monarcas de sus talentos, que son sus herramientas para adquirir conocimiento. El ojo, el oído y la lengua son como caballos salvajes que no tienen riendas; aprendan el arte de la meditación (dhyana), por medio de la cual los sentidos pueden ser controlados y la voluntad dirigida hacia dentro, en dirección al dominio sobre los sentimientos y emociones. Los hogares y las naciones que carecen de frenos para su sensualidad
nunca podrán sobrevivir ni prosperar. (Divino Discurso, 26 de julio de 1969)

 

A home is filled with love, with the sacrifice that love involves, the joy that love radiates, and the peace that love imparts. The brick and mortar structure where parents and children spend their lives is a house, not a home; neither children yearn for it nor parents find peace therein. In your homes, one discipline all of you must heed is – the control of the senses! If you give them free rein, they will drag you into calamity. Education must render you monarch of your talents which are your tools for acquiring knowledge. The eye, the ear, the tongue are like wild horses that have no reins; learn the art of meditation (dhyana) by which the senses can be controlled and the will directed inwards, towards the mastery of feelings and emotions. Not just homes, nations that have no bridle on its sensuality can never thrive or survive. (Divine Discourse, Jul 26, 1969)
