Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam

OM SRI SAI RAM

Sathya y Dharma (la Verdad y la Rectitud) son los conceptos más importantes en el Ramayana. Los Vedas, que son el aliento vital de los Bharatiyas, proclaman: “Sathyam Vada; Dharmam Chara (Hablen la Verdad; actúen con Rectitud)”. Para honrar la palabra dada por su padre, Rama eligió ir al bosque dejando Ayodhya. La Verdad es el fundamento de toda Rectitud. No hay religión más grande que la Verdad. Rama se destacó como defensor de la Verdad para cumplir la promesa de su padre, para mantener las tradiciones de su dinastía Ikshvaku, para proteger a su país y por el bienestar del mundo. Todos los que se llaman a sí mismos seres humanos deben defender la Verdad de la misma manera. Mahatmas (nobles) son aquellos cuyas acciones, pensamientos y palabras concuerdan perfectamente. Las personas malvadas son aquellas cuyos pensamientos, palabras y acciones no son coherentes entre sí.

Satya and Dharma (Truth and Righteousness) are the most important concepts in the Ramayana. Vedas, which are the very life-breath of Bharatiyas, proclaim: “Satyam Vada; Dharmam Chara (Speak the Truth; Act Righteously)”. To honour the plighted word of his father, Rama elected to go to the forest leaving Ayodhya. Truth is the foundation for all righteousness. There is no greater religion than truth. Rama stood out as an upholder of Truth to fulfil the promise of his father, to maintain the traditions of his Ikshvaku dynasty, to protect his country and for the sake of the welfare of the world. Everyone who calls themselves a human being should stand up for truth in the same manner. Mahatmas (noble ones) are those whose actions, thoughts and words are in perfect accord. Wicked people are those whose thoughts, words and deeds are at a variance with each other. Lord Rama indeed is a Mahatma (a noble one), worthy of adoration for time immemorial!

La Madre Gayatri tiene tres aspectos: Gayatri, Savitri y Saraswati. Gayatri es la deidad que preside nuestros sentidos; Savitri es la deidad que preside el principio vital, y Saraswati es la deidad que preside el habla. Los tres aspectos están dentro del mismo Principio de la Verdad. El Gayatri Mantra comienza con: Om Bhur Bhuvah Suvah. Bhur significa materialización (cuerpo), Bhuvah significa vibración (principio vital), y Suvah significa radiación que representa al Atma. Desde el punto de vista de un científico, la materia puede
convertirse en energía y viceversa. Pero desde Mi perspectiva, la materia y la energía no existen por separado. Las dos son inseparables y están interrelacionadas. De hecho, no hay materia en este mundo; dondequiera que vean, sólo encuentran energía. La Verdad, Rectitud, Paz y Perdón son todas expresiones del Principio de Shakti
(Energía). La Verdad es la causa primordial. No hay nada más. Todas las facultades de la energía están
presentes en esta Verdad. Por lo tanto, consideren a la Verdad como su madre y síganla.Discurso Divino del 25 de septiembre de 1998.

 

Mother Gayatri has three aspects – Gayatri, Savitri, and Saraswati. Gayathri is the presiding deity of our senses; Savitri is the presiding deity of the life principle, and Saraswati is the presiding deity of speech. All these three are within the same Principle of Truth. Gayatri Mantra beings with, Om Bhur Bhuvah Suvah. Bhur means materialisation (body), bhuvah means vibration (life principle), and suvah means radiation representing the Atma. From a
scientist’s point of view, matter can be converted into energy and vice versa. But in My view, matter and energy do not exist separately. These two are inseparable and interrelated. In fact, there is no matter in this world; wherever you see, you find only energy. Truth, Righteousness, Peace, and Forgiveness are all expressions of the Principle of Shakti (Energy). Truth is the primal cause. There is nothing other than this. All faculties of energy
are present in this Truth. So, consider
Truth as your mother and follow it.

Más cosas, más obstáculos, más desventajas. La acumulación de sillones, sillas, camas, mesas, y suvenires desordenan la sala y propician que los movimientos sean lentos y riesgosos. Reduzcan los deseos y vivan simplemente, esa es la llave para la felicidad. ¡El apego trae tristeza en su despertar! ¡Cuando la muerte reclame que todo sea dejado atrás y toda persona sea abandonada, ustedes estarán abrumados por la pena! Sean como el loto sobre el agua, sobre ella, no en ella. El agua es necesaria para que el loto crezca, pero no permitirá que ni una sola gota lo moje. El mundo objetivo es la arena de la virtud y el gimnasio para el espíritu. Úsenlo para ese propósito solamente; ¡no lo eleven a un estatus más alto! Practiquen un Sadhana simple del Namasmarana ( Recordación de Dios), junto con la reverencia a sus padres, mayores y maestros, y
sirvan a los enfermos y pobres. Vean a cada uno como Ishtadevata (elegido de Dios). Eso llenará su corazón de amor y les dará estabilidad de mente y paz. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Divino Discurso del 15 de mayo de 1969.

 

More things, more hurdles, more handicaps. Accumulation of sofas, chairs, cots, tables, and curios clutter the hall and render movements slow and risky. Reduce wants and live simple, that is the key to happiness. Attachment brings sorrow in its wake! When death demands that everything be left behind and everybody be deserted, you are overpowered with grief! Be like the lotus on water; on it, not in it. Water is necessary for the lotus to grow, but it will not allow even a drop to wet it. The objective world is the arena of virtue and the gymnasium for the spirit. Use it for that purpose only; do not raise it to a higher status! Take up the simple Sadhana of Namasmarana (Remembering God), along with reverence towards parents, elders and teachers, and service to the sick and poor. See everyone as your lshtadevata (chosen form of God). That will fill your heart with love and give you stability of mind and peace. [Divine Discourse, May 15, 1969]

A pesar de no ver las raíces o saber cuán lejos, anchas o profundas se incrustan en la tierra, riegan con agua alrededor del tronco para que pueda llegar a las raíces, ¿no es así? Esperan que cuando las raíces hagan contacto con el agua, el árbol crecerá y cosecharán los frutos . Similarmente , comprendan que hay Dios, la verdadera base de la creación; órenle a ÉL, y Él derramará los frutos. Los medios primordiales por los que ustedes desapegan su mente de las distracciones y se atan en la búsqueda de Dios son la comunión con Dios (Yoga) y el sacrificio (Tyaga). El deseo ( Kama) debe ser conquistado por Tyaga y Rama (Dios) debe ser asegurado por el Yoga. EL deseo decolora la inteligencia, pervierte el juicio y agudiza los apetitos de los sentidos. Presta un atractivo falso hacia el mundo objetivo. Cuando el deseo desaparece o está
concentrado en Dios, la inteligencia es auto- luminosa, brilla en su prístino esplendor, revelando a Dios dentro y en todas partes. ¡Esa es verdadera Auto Realización (Atma Sakshatkara)! Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Divino Discurso del 15 de mayo de 1969.

 

Though you do not see the roots or know how far, wide or deep they are clutching the earth, you pour water around the trunk so that it may reach the roots, is it not? You expect that when roots contact the water, the tree will grow and yield fruit. Similarly, understand that there is God, the very basis of creation; pray to Him, and He will shower fruits. The chief means by which you detach your mind from distractions and attach yourselves to the search of God are communion with God (Yoga) and sacrifice (Tyaga). Desire (Kama) must be conquered by Tyaga and Rama (God) must be secured by Yoga. Desire discolours intelligence, perverts judgement and sharpens the appetites of the senses. It lends a false lure to the objective world. When desire disappears or is concentrated on God, intelligence is self-luminous, it shines in its pristine splendour, revealing God within and everywhere.
