En este mundo transitorio, hay muchos poderes misteriosos desconocidos para el hombre. Estos son mencionados como poderes trascendentales y escondidos; no todos pueden entenderlos. Cada ser está dotado con poder divino. Es por esto que siempre Me dirijo a ustedes como Divyatma Swarupulara (Encarnaciones del Atma Divina). Incluso hoy, los doctores son incapaces de comprender los secretos y misterios del cuerpo humano. Por ejemplo, tomen la lengua. Hay 40.000 papilas gustativas en la lengua. In this fleeting world, there are many mysterious powers unknown to man. These are referred to as transcendental and hidden powers; not all can understand them. Every being is endowed with divine power. That is why I always address you as Divyatma Swarupulara (Embodiments of Divine Atma). Even today, doctors are unable to comprehend the secrets and mysteries of the human body. For example, take the tongue. There are 40,000 taste buds on the tongue. Of these, there are 25,000 buds that generate heat in the tongue. The eye, which is hardly an inch in size, can recognise 13 crore types of light rays. There are millions and millions of cells in your body, and each cell is divine and contains your complete form. Is it not awe-inspiring? Whose creation is this? This is the transcendental power of Divinity. It is foolish to consider such all pervading Divinity to be non-existent! (Divine Discourse, Nov 23, 1998)- BABA

Es una gran fortuna haber nacido en Bharat. Poder declarar que son Bharatiyas es una cuestión de gran suerte. Deben ser dignos de esta bendición que se les ha dado. Bajo ninguna circunstancia se debe criticar a la Madre Patria. Incluso en sus sueños, no deben pensar en olvidar o repudiar a su Madre Patria. Eso es verdadera gratitud. ¿De qué sirve nacer como humano si uno carece de un sentido de gratitud? Quien no tiene gratitud es una persona malvada. En los himnos referidos a la adoración del Dios Sol, se dice que el Dios Sol puede perdonar cualquier pecado pero no la ingratitud. Por lo tanto, nunca dejen de estar agradecidos y nunca le den a nadie la oportunidad de acusarlos de ser desagradecidos. Deben esforzarse por realzar la gloria de la cultura Bharatiya. It is a great fortune to have been born in Bharat. To be able to declare that you are a Bharatiya is a matter of great luck. You must be worthy of this boon given to you. Under no circumstance should anyone criticise their Motherland. Under no circumstance must you criticise your Motherland. Even in your dreams you should not think of forgetting or disowning your Motherland. That is true gratitude. What is the use of taking birth as a human, if one lacks a sense of gratitude? The one without gratitude is a wicked person. In the hymns that pertain to the worship of the Sun God, it is said that the Sun God may forgive any sin but not ingratitude. Hence never fail to be grateful, and never give anyone the opportunity to accuse you of being ungrateful. You must endeavour to enhance the glory of Bharatiya culture. One’s mother and motherland are greater than the very heaven. (Divine Discourse, May 27, 2000)

La alabanza y la crítica son reflejos del ser interior. Una persona virtuosa jamás critica a los demás; sólo el malvado se complace en actividades tan sacrílegas. El color que ven depende del color de los anteojos que llevan puestos. Usen los anteojos del amor y verán amor en todas partes. No le den importancia a la crítica. Si los critican en voz alta, la crítica desaparece en el aire. Si los acusan silenciosamente, vuelve a ellos. ¿Están criticando el cuerpo de ustedes? El cuerpo es inerte. ¿Están criticando al Atma? Si es así, ¡el mismo Atma habita en ambos y, por lo tanto, equivale a criticarse a sí mismos! ¡Un verdadero buscador de la verdad se dará cuenta de este hecho! Tómense el tiempo para reconocer las cien faltas presentes en ustedes. En lugar de eso, ¿por qué buscan señalar las faltas más
insignificantes en los demás? Lo malo en ustedes se refleja como lo malo en los demás. ¡Elijan corregirse a ustedes mismos primero! Sólo entonces su mente se volverá pura. Por consiguiente, ¡siempre desarrollen pensamientos sagrados! Discurso Divino del 23 de noviembre de 1998.

 

Praise and censure are reflections of the inner being. A virtuous person never criticises others; only the mean indulge in such unsacred activities. The color you see depends on the color of glasses you wear. Wear the glasses of love, and you will see love all around. Do not attach importance to criticism. If someone criticizes you loudly, it goes into thin air. If they accuse you silently, it goes to themselves. Are they criticising your body? The body is inert. Are they criticising the Atma? If so, the same Atma dwells in both and hence amounts to criticising themselves! A true seeker of truth will realise this fact! Take time to recognise the hundred faults present within yourself. Instead, why do you seek to point out the most insignificant fault in others? The bad in you reflects as the bad in others. Choose to correct yourself first! Only then will your mind become pure. Cuando el ídolo del Señor Rama le fue arrebatado a Thyagaraja, él estaba muy apesadumbrado. Incluso cuestionó la divinidad de Rama diciéndole: «¿Acaso no tienes el poder para resolver mis problemas o es que me falta devoción? Definitivamente yo tengo devoción, por lo tanto, eres Tú el que carece de poder”. Continuó en esta línea ensalzando su propia devoción y, en el proceso, se volvió egoísta. Pero cuando se sentó a meditar, la sabiduría se manifestó en él. Se dio cuenta de su insensatez al dudar de la divinidad de Rama. Él reflexionó: “Sin la gracia del Señor Rama, ¿podría un mono cruzar el océano? Si Rama careciera de poder, ¿lo adoraría Lakshmana? O, para el caso: Lakshmi, la diosa de la riqueza, ¿ lo serviría? Y el extremadamente inteligente
Bharata, ¿le ofrecería sus respetos? ¡Oh Rama! Ciertamente Tu poder es inmenso. Son mi ignorancia y mezquindad las que me llevaron a cuestionar Tu divinidad». When Lord Rama’s idol was taken away from Thyagaraja, he was grief-stricken. He even questioned the divinity of Rama and cried out, “Don’t you have the power to solve my problems, or do I lack devotion? Definitely I have devotion, it is only you who lack power.” He continued in this vein extolling his devotion and in the process, he became egoistic. When he sat in meditation, wisdom dawned on him. He realised his folly in doubting Rama’s divinity. He reflected, “Without the grace of Lord Rama, could a monkey cross the ocean? If Rama lacked power, would Lakshmana worship Him or for that matter Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, serve Him and the extremely intelligent Bharata offer his salutations? O Rama! Certainly Your power is immense. It is my ignorance and meanness that I challenged Your divinity.” He sought Lord Rama’s pardon and surrendered himself unto Him. When you purify your heart and surrender to
