La gente cumple solo con las formas de adoración externas sin comprender el significado interno. El cosmos entero es un templo. El Señor impregna el cosmos. Prakruti (La Naturaleza) enseña la verdad espiritual sobre Navarathri. El Señor deber ser concienciado a través del sadhana (prácticas espirituales). El Sadhana no significa adorar a Dios en un lugar o en una forma en particular. Significa pensar en Dios al hacer todo, donde sea que se encuentren. Se podrán preguntar si esto es posible. La respuesta es, que sí es posible dedicando cada acción a Dios. EN Navarathri, hay una forma de adoración llamada Puja Angarpana. En esta adoración, los miembros del propio cuerpo ¡son ofrecidos a la Divinidad! Ello significa ofrecer cada acción a la Divinidad, con un espíritu de entrega renunciando a la idea de separación entre uno y Dios. Durante este

People observe only the external forms of worship without understanding the inner significance. The entire cosmos is a temple. The Lord pervades the cosmos. Prakruti (Nature) teaches the spiritual truth about Navarathri. The Lord has to be realised through sadhana (spiritual practices). Sadhana does not mean adoring God in a particular place or a particular form. It means thinking of God in all that you do, wherever you may be. You may ask whether this is possible. The answer is that it is possible by dedicating every action to God. In Navarathri, there is a form of worship called Angarpana Puja. In this worship, the limbs of one’s body are offered to the Divine! It means offering every action to the Divine, in a spirit of surrender and giving up the idea of separation between oneself and God. During this Navarathri, worship Mother Goddess in this spirit of unity and surrender. Be convinced that the same Divine dwells in all beings! – Divine

Buda cierta vez, hizo que aquellos quienes comenzaron a maltratarlo, recibieran una importante lección. Le preguntó a uno de ellos: «¡Hijo! Si un mendigo viene a tu casa a pedir limosna. Le traes alguna comida. Si el mendigo dice: ‘Este no es el alimento que pedí, y no lo voy a aceptar’. ¿Qué harías?» El hombre respondió: «Le retiraría lo ofrecido». Buda dijo: «Igualmente, tu intentas ofrecerme la limosna de tu maltrato. No lo acepté. ¿A quién le pertenece? Permanece contigo. De este modo tú solo has abusado de ti mismo, no de mí,» dijo Buda. Si una carta certificada es enviada a alguien que se niega a recibirla, el correo la enviará nuevamente al remitente. similarmente, si critican a alguien u odian a alguna persona, si la otra persona permanece inafectada e imperturbable, la crítica y el odio regresan a ustedes. Los celos y el odio hacen

Buddha once brought home to those who began abusing him, an important lesson. He asked one of them: «Child! A beggar comes to your house asking for alms. You bring some food. If the beggar says, ‘This is not the alms I asked for, and I will not accept it’ what will you do?» The man replied: «I will keep back the offering.» Buddha said: «In the same manner, you attempted to offer me the alms of your abuse. I did not accept it. To whom does it belong? It remains with you. So, you have only abused yourself, not me,» said Buddha. If a registered letter is addressed to someone who declines to receive it, the postal department will deliver it back to the sender. Similarly, if you criticise someone or hate somebody, if the other person remains unaffected and unperturbed, your criticism and hatred come back to you. Las diferentes máquinas son operadas mediante electricidad. Sus aplicaciones son variadas con respecto a sus formas y funciones, pero el poder que las hace funcionar es uno y el mismo. Cuando la corriente fluye a través de una bombilla eléctrica, ilumina la habitación y da luz. Cuando la misma corriente pasa a través de un ventilador, produce una brisa y refresca el espacio. Del mismo modo el Principio – Átmico demuestra su unidad en la miríada de entidades en las que asume varias formas y nombres. Al igual que hay bombillas con variedad voltaica, que sirven para distintos propósitos, hay diferencias entre los seres vivos. La electricidad que corre a través de las distintas bombillas es la misma. La variación en la cantidad de luz que brota de ellas se debe a las peculiaridades de la capacidad de las bombillas. Igualmente quien esté lleno de amor brilla radiantemente.

Different machines are operated by electricity. Appliances are varied in their forms and functions, but the power that makes them function is one and the same. When current flows through an electric bulb, it illuminates the room and gives light. When the same current flows through an electric fan, it produces breeze and cools the room. Likewise, the Atma-Principle demonstrates its oneness in all the myriad entities in which it assumes various forms and names. Just as there are bulbs with varying wattages, serving different purposes, there are differences amongst living beings. Electricity running through all the different bulbs is the same. The variation in the amount of light that comes from them are due to differences in the capacity of the bulbs. Likewise one who is filled with love shines radiantly. Dios es la personificación del Amor. Si ustedes desean experimentar a Dios, deben llenarse de Amor. Solo por medio del Amor pueden experimentar a la encarnación del Amor. El hombre lleno de envidia y odio es como un ciego que no puede ver el sol, más allá de cuánto esté brillando. Cegado por la ignorancia, esta persona no puede ver a Dios, más allá de lo cerca que Él esté. El hombre sabio (Jnani) lleno de buenas cualidades como la verdad y el amor, y la ausencia de envidia, de ego y de odio, puede ver a Dios sin buscarLo. Los estudiantes, los jóvenes y los mayores, en igual medida, no deben dar lugar a rasgos malignos como la envidia. Ustedes deben sentirse felices cuando otros tienen éxito en sus estudios, deportes o profesión. El sentir envidia hacia una persona exitosa es una ofensa triple. La primera ofensa es el descuido de los propios deberes o estudios;
la segunda ofensa es sentir envidia hacia una persona mejor; y la tercera, es lamentarse por el propio fracaso. Discurso Divino del 6 de septiembre de 1984.

 

God is the embodiment of Love. To experience God, you must fill yourselves with love. Through Love alone can you experience the embodiment of Love. The person filled with jealousy and hatred is like a blind man who cannot see the Sun, however brightly it may shine. Covered by ignorance, such a person cannot see God, however near He may be. The wise person (Jnani) filled with good qualities like truth, love, absence of jealousy, ego and hatred, can see God without searching for Him. Students, youth and elders alike should give no room for evil traits like jealousy. You must feel happy when others succeed in studies, sports, or profession. To feel jealous towards the successful person is a threefold offence. The first offence is one’s neglect of duty or studies; the second offence is to entertain jealousy towards the better individual; and the third is to lament over one’s own failure.
