Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam

OM SRI SAI RAM

Mediten en Dios como verdad, como amor. Es posible realizarlo en cualquier forma en la que mediten. Siempre estén en la buena compañía (satsang) de Sus devotos. A través de esta buena compañía, el discernimiento y la renuncia (viveka y vairagya) se implantarán y crecerán en ustedes. Esto fortalecerá al espíritu y los dotará de paz interior. Entonces, su mente se fundirá con Dios. En todo lo que hagan, hablen y actúen verazmente, usando toda la fuerza y el talento con los que están dotados. Al principio, es posible que fallen en esto y que encuentren dificultades y sufrimientos. Pero, finalmente, están destinados a triunfar y lograr la victoria y la bienaventuranza. Solo la verdad conquista, no la falsedad (“Satyameva jayate, nanritam”). A través de su comportamiento y de su forma de vida, pueden realizar la verdad; pueden, de
hecho, realizar a Dios (Paramatma). Solo Dios es real. Dios es verdad. El Señor Supremo es amor. (Prema Vahini, capítulo 8 de la edición en español)

 

Meditate on God as truth, as love. It is possible to realise Him in whatever form you meditate upon. Be always in the good company (satsang) of His devotees. Through this good company, discrimination and renunciation (viveka and vairagya) will be implanted in you and will grow. These will strengthen the spirit and endow you with inner peace. Your mind will then merge in God. In everything you do, speak and act truthfully, using all the strength and talent with which you are endowed. At first, you might fail in this and encounter difficulties and sufferings. But, ultimately, you are bound to succeed and achieve victory and bliss. Only truth conquers, not untruth (satyameva jayate, nanritam). Through your behaviour and way of life, you can realise the truth; you can indeed realise God (Paramatma). God alone is real. God is truth. The Supreme Lord is love. (Prema Vahini, Ch 14)

Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam

La adoración (puja) no es cortar una flor y colocarla sobre una imagen hermosa de Dios meramente; no se olviden del jardinero quien trabajó duro para alimentar la planta que dio la flor,-recuerden: él también es un adorador. La sabiduría espiritual verdadera (jnana) es el correcto entendimiento, no es simplemente un logro intelectual. Solo cuando la comida es consumida, es que el cuerpo puede funcionar. Incluso los actos que preceden a un sacrificio son una ofrenda (yajna). Uno utiliza al mundo para adorar al Señor, para establecer paz y justicia en la sociedad, y para controlar y coordinar las funciones del cuerpo. Toda acción realizada en nombre de estas tres metas son sacrificio. La primera es llamada ritual sacrificial (yajna); la segunda , caridad (dana); la tercera, penitencia (tapas). Cualquier acto humano, realizado por cada uno en todo lugar del mundo debe promover estos tres requerimientos!

Worship (puja) is not merely plucking a flower and placing it on top of a beautiful image of God; do not forget the gardener who toiled to nurse the plant and gave the flower – remember, he is also a worshipper. Real spiritual wisdom (jnana) is true understanding, it is not merely an intellectual accomplishment. It is only when food is given, that the body can function. Even the acts preceding a sacrifice is an offering (yajna). One utilises the world to worship the Lord, to establish peace and justice in society, and to control and coordinate the functions of the body. All action done for the sake of these three goals is sacrifice. The first is called a sacrificial ritual (yajna); the second, charity (dana); the third, penance (tapas). All human acts, by everyone, anywhere in the world, must subserve these three needs! (Prema Vahini, Ch 12)

Hoy es Sankranti, esto marca el comienzo de Uttarayana, el tiempo sagrado y auspicioso. Al menos desde hoy en más, desarrollen nobles sentimientos. Sigan la senda sagrada. Entonces el futuro ciertamente estará salvo y seguro. Con la plegaria a Dios, pueden alcanzar cualquier cosa en la vida. Quiero que oren. Siempre estoy con ustedes, en ustedes, por encima y alrededor de ustedes. Hagan esfuerzos para instilar tal fe y devoción en los seres humanos. Eso Me hará muy feliz. La felicidad yace en la unión con Dios. En consecuencia, contemplen en Dios constantemente. Nunca se dejen alcanzar por la ansiedad o los problemas, «Los exámenes se acercan ¿Cómo voy a encararlos? ¿pasaré?» No den lugar a la desesperación y el abatimiento con tal actitud negativa. Tengan fe en Dios. Hagan su deber y enfrenten cada situación con coraje. Entonces, el resultado está obligado

Today is Sankranti, which marks the commencement of Uttarayana, the auspicious and sacred time. At least from today onwards, develop noble feelings. Follow the sacred path. Then your future will certainly be safe and secure. With prayer to God, you can achieve anything in life. I want you to pray. I am always with you, in you, above you, and around you. Make efforts to instill such faith and devotion in fellow human beings. That will make Me very happy. Happiness lies in union with God. Hence contemplate on God incessantly. Never give scope for anxiety or worry thinking, “Examinations are approaching. How am I going to face them? Will I pass?” Do not give scope for despair and despondency with such negative attitude. Have faith in God. Do your duty and face any situation with courage. Then, the result is bound to be good. Love is everything. Love is God. Live in love. (Divine Discourse, Jan 14, 2006)

Mensaje de la Pizarra de Prashanti Nilayam

El festival de Sankranti está llegando con todo su esplendor y belleza. Este día no es un día ordinario. Marca el comienzo del sagrado Uttarayana (viaje del sol hacia el norte). Nos confiere abundancia, prosperidad y nos ayuda a desarrollar virtudes y comenzar actividades sagradas. Podrán conquistar el mundo entero cuando sus pensamientos sean nobles. En tanto llenen sus corazones de pensamientos y sentimientos mundanos, no serán capaces de practicar sus cualidades divinas innatas. Hiranyaksha, Hiranyakasipu, Duryodhana y Kamsa no eran para nada ordinarios. A a pesar que eran muy fuertes de cuerpo y mente se volvieron débiles al estar inmersos en sentimientos mundanos. No llenen sus corazones con sentimientos del mundo. Cada individuo está dotado de poderes e inteligencia grandiosos. ¡Desarrollen virtudes, pensamientos nobles y un carácter excelente y alcanzarán grandes alturas!

The festival of Sankranti is arriving in all its beauty and splendour. This day is no ordinary day. It marks the beginning of the sacred Uttarayana (northward journey of the Sun). It confers on us plenty, prosperity and helps us develop virtues and undertake sacred activities. You can conquer the entire world when your thoughts are noble. When you fill your heart with worldly thoughts and feelings, you will not be able to practice your innate divine qualities. Hiranyaksha, Hiranyakasipu, Duryodhana and Kamsa were by no means ordinary. Though they were very strong in their body and mind, they became weak as they were immersed in worldly feelings. Do not fill your heart with worldly feelings. Every individual is endowed with mighty power and intelligence. Develop virtues, noble thoughts and sterling character and you will accomplish great heights! (Divine Discourse, Jan 14, 2003)
