Aunque la humanidad ha sido expuesta a muchos Advenimientos de Encarnaciones Divinas (Avatares), la gente todavía no ha comprendido plenamente todos los aspectos de un Advenimiento. Debemos examinar la razón por la cual el Señor Sin Forma toma la forma de un ser humano y convive en medio de los humanos. Es para mezclarse con ellos y darles ejemplos e ideales y transmitirles todos los aspectos que deben aprender. Muchos preguntan inocentemente y desde su ignorancia, por qué un Avatar, que es todopoderoso, debe someterse a Sí Mismo a todas las penurias, y por qué debe Él tolerar el hambre y el sufrimiento que lo rodea. Un Avatar que tiene todos los poderes debería ser capaz de quitar todo ese sufrimiento en un instante. Si es que hay algún sentido en semejante pregunta, ¿por qué, en primer lugar, debe un Avatar tomar forma humana? Puede permanecer como Divinidad que no tiene
forma y hacer todas estas cosas desde esa misma posición . Con el tiempo, y bajo ciertas condiciones, lo que tiene que ser hecho se debe hacer y tales actos tienen que ser realizados a un nivel humano. (Rosas de Verano en las Montañas Azules, 1976, Cap. 6)

 

lthough humanity has been exposed to many Advents (Avatar), people have not yet fully understood all aspects of an Advent. We should examine the reason why the formless Lord takes the form of a human being and comes into the midst of humans. It is so that He may mix with the human beings and set examples and ideals, and convey to them all aspects that they should learn. Many ask innocently and ignorantly why an Avatar, who is all powerful, should subject Oneself to all troubles; and why should He tolerate hunger and suffering all around. An Avatar who has all the powers should be able to remove all such suffering in one moment. If there is any meaning in such a question, why should an Avatar come in human form at all? He can remain as formless Divinity and do all these things from that position itself. In time, and under certain conditions whatever has to be done must be done and such acts have to be performed at a human level. (Summer Roses On Blue

Todos deben desarrollar el espíritu de sacrificio (tyaga). Deben servir a la gente con su cuerpo. Tienen que albergar pensamientos buenos y nobles en su mente. Deben usar su riqueza para apoyar a las instituciones educativas y de otro tipo a ayudar a las personas. Den de comer a los hambrientos. Esta es la manera de llevar una vida útil y sublime. La vida no se les ha dado para que ustedes se vuelvan gordos. El cuerpo es el instrumento básico para la práctica de la rectitud (Dharma). Dediquen todo su tiempo al servicio y al desempeño adecuado de sus funciones. Sólo Dios puede transformar sus esfuerzos espirituales en una experiencia trascendental. Dios es omnipresente; Él está en todas partes y dentro de ustedes. ¡Ustedes son divinos! Asegúrense de que sus prácticas espirituales (Sadhana) no sean realizadas por alguna razón egoísta. Esta debe promover el bien de
los demás. Renuncien al egoísmo, cultivando el amor desinteresado por los demás, y santifiquen sus vidas. Entonces experimentarán Sakshatkara, la visión de la Divinidad desde su interior. (Divino Discurso, 7 de julio de 1990)

 

Everyone must develop the spirit of sacrifice (tyaga). You must serve the people with your body. You have to cherish good and noble thoughts in your mind. You must use your wealth for supporting educational and other institutions to help the people. Give food to the starving. This is the way to lead a purposeful and sublime life. Life has been given to you not to become fat yourself. The body is the basic instrument for the practice of righteousness (Dharma). Dedicate your entire time to service and for the proper discharge of your duties. God alone can transform your spiritual efforts into a transcendental experience. God is omnipresent; He is everywhere and within you. You are Divine! Ensure your spiritual practices (Sadhana) are not for any selfish reason. It must promote the good of others. Giving up selfishness, cultivating selfless love for others, and sanctify your lives. Then you will experience Sakshatkara, the vision of the Divine from

Hoy estamos celebrando Guru Purnima. El día se observa generalmente como una ocasión para ofrecer adoración al Gurú (el preceptor religioso o de otro tipo). Hay ocho diferentes tipos de gurús, que imparten instrucciones espirituales de diferentes tipos. Entre estos, el gurú realmente importante es el «Vihitha Guru», el preceptor que elimina las dudas de la mente de los discípulos y les revela el proceso del descubrimiento del Sí Mismo y la realización del Sí Mismo. El gurú debe destruir la oscuridad de la ignorancia (sobre la propia Realidad) e iluminar la mente del discípulo. La iluminación debe dar lugar a la percepción de la Realidad Única que está más allá del nombre, la forma y los atributos. No hay ninguna utilidad en ir en busca de los gurús. Hay un gurú en cada uno de nosotros. Es el principio del Atma. Es
el Eterno Testigo funcionando como Conciencia en cada uno. Con esta Conciencia como guía, permítanse realizar todas las acciones. (Divino Discurso, 11 de julio de 1987).

 

Today we are celebrating Guru Poornima. The day is usually observed as an occasion for offering worship to the Guru (the religious or other preceptor). There are eight different types of gurus, who impart spiritual instructions of different kinds. Among these, the really important guru is «Vihitha Guru», the preceptor who removes the doubts in the minds of the disciples and reveals to them the process of Self-discovery and Self-realisation. The guru should destroy the darkness of ignorance (about one’s Reality) and illumine the mind of the disciple. The illumination must result in the perception of the One Reality that is beyond name, form and attributes. No purpose is served by going in search of gurus. There is a guru in each of us. It is the Atmic principle. It is the Eternal Witness functioning as Conscience in everyone. With this Conscience as guide, let all actions be done. (Divine Discourse, 11 July 1987.)
