¡Encarnaciones del Amor Divino! Todos aspiran a la felicidad y quieren evitar la pena. Sin embargo, en este mundo la verdad y la falsedad, la rectitud y la iniquidad, la justicia y la injusticia pasan y cambian con el tiempo. Deben tener fe en el principio supremo del que surgen tanto el bien como el mal. Cada día experimentan felicidad y tristeza, dan la bienvenida a afectos y aversiones, e invitan preocupaciones y penurias. En estas condiciones, ¿cómo estar en paz? El auténtico ser humano es aquel que cree en la ecuanimidad: de la misma manera en que da la bienvenida a la felicidad, debe ser capaz de recibir las penas. Ustedes deben confiar en la Divinidad, y experimentar Su amor en sus corazones. Si quieren ser respetados por todos, deben respetar a todos. Ya sean ricos o pobres, nobles o innobles, todos tienen respeto por sí mismos. Deben esforzarse por salvaguardar el respeto a sí mismos. Quien
verdaderamente se respeta, respeta a todos. No hay nada nuevo que Yo pueda decirles hoy. Todos deben lograr la dicha y conquistar la pena; cultiven el auténtico amor, y experimenten a la Divinidad. Este es hoy Mi principal mensaje para ustedes. (Divino Discurso, 23 de noviembre de 2001)

 

Embodiments of Divine Love! Everyone aspires for happiness and wants to avoid sorrow. But in this world, truth and untruth, righteousness and unrighteousness, justice and injustice pass and change with time. One should have faith in the ultimate principle out of which both good and evil arise. Everyday one experiences happiness and sorrow, welcomes affections and aversions and invites worries and misery. How can one be at peace under these conditions? The true man is one who believes in equanimity – in the same way as one welcomes happiness, one should be able to welcome sorrows also. You should trust the Divine and experience His love in your hearts. If you want to be respected by everyone, you should respect everyone. Whether rich or poor, noble or ignoble, everyone has self-respect. One should put in effort to safeguard one’s self-respect. One who has true self-respect respects all. There is nothing new that I can tell you today. Everyone
should attain bliss and conquer sorrow; develop true love and experience Divinity. This is My principal message to you today. -Divine Discourse, November 23, 2001

La educación es para ustedes un adorno; es su riqueza secreta, que les otorga prosperidad y fama. Es el pariente confiable en los viajes por el extranjero. Más que la riqueza, ella suscita el respeto de los gobernantes. La educación es la base para poder llevar una vida significativa en el mundo físico, en la esfera de la mente y en la sociedad. Los equipa con fuerza mental y estabilidad para enfrentar los desafíos de la vida, y comprender las innumerables manifestaciones de la naturaleza. Sólo cuando entiendan el poder de su mente podrán reconocer la relación entre el mundo y la sociedad. La educación debe promover el discernimiento y la humildad, y posibilitarles que reconozcan sus obligaciones hacia sus padres, y hacia otros que han hecho de ustedes lo que hoy son. La gratitud es una virtud suprema. Sean agradecidos para con sus padres. Amplíen su visión. Estén
conscientes de la Divinidad que es inherente en cada ser. Cultiven el espíritu del amor, y llenen su vida de alegría. (Divino Discurso, 22 de noviembre de 1988)

 

Education is an ornament for you, it is your secret wealth that confers prosperity and fame. It is one’s unfailing kinsman in foreign travel. More than wealth, this secures the respect of rulers. Education is the basis for leading a purposeful life in the physical world, in the realm of the mind and in society. It equips you with mental strength and steadiness to face the challenges in life and understand the myriad manifestations in Nature. Only when you understand the power of your mind, you can recognise the relationship between the world and society. Education should promote discrimination and humility, and enable you to recognise your obligations to your parents and others who have made you who you are today. Gratitude is a supreme virtue. Be grateful to your parents. Broaden your vision. Be aware of the Divinity that is inherent in every being. Cultivate the spirit of love and fill your life with joy. (Divine Discourse, Nov 22 1988)
