Los devotos no deben agitarse por la controversias causadas por gente que no tiene experiencia divina o intuitiva. Deben empeñarse en estar libres de la ansiedad y el miedo, orgullo y envidia. Todos ustedes tienen cuatro enemigos determinados a arruinarlos- ira, envidia, odio y la horda de deseos. Deben considerar a ambos lugares, los altos o los bajos como roles que les han sido asignados en la obra Divina. Siempre recuerden, cuando insultan, injurian o rechazan, están ciertamente ocasionándoselos al Amoroso Dios que adoran. No pueden recoger la cosecha de la gracia o de la bienaventuranza de la Divinidad si sembraron ardor espiritual en un corazón lleno de malezas de avaricia y odio. La prescripción moral básica para cualquier devoto que espira a ser querido y cercano del Avatar es, ‘Adora a Dios y ofrécele amor en cada ser vivo’. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Devotees must not be agitated by controversies promoted by people who have no divine or intuitive experience. You must all endeavor to be free from anxiety and fear, pride and envy. All of you have four enemies intent on ruining you – anger, envy, hatred and the horde of desires. You must regard both high and low as roles allotted to you in the Divine play. Always remember, whenever you insult, injure or reject anyone, you are, indeed inflicting them on the Loving God you adore. You can not reap the harvest of grace or the bliss from the Divine if you sow spiritual ardour on a heart full of the weeds of greed and hate. The basic moral prescription for any devotee who aspires to be near and dear to the Avatar is, ‘Worship God and offer love to Him in every living being.’ (Divine Discourse, Aug 2, 1986)
