Siempre amen y persigan solamente la verdad; la falsedad nunca es beneficiosa. Algunos pueden respetarla, pero van a ver que nadie honra la falsedad, el engaño y la injusticia todo el tiempo. Por el contrario, todos respetan la verdad, la honestidad, la integridad y la justicia. ¿Quién es una persona divina (devatha)? Es solo un nombre para la persona que observa la verdad como su voto personal en su vida diaria. La conducta correcta (dharma) como se prescribe en las Escrituras (Vedas) es puesta a prueba, comprobada y capaz de soportar la prueba del tiempo. Es imparcial y justa. La fe en ella crece con la práctica. La adoración de la Divinidad debe seguir las reglas prescriptas en las Escrituras (Vedas); por este medio, las personas se fortalecen para poder llevar una vida recta (dharmic). Este dharma es el mandamiento del Señor; es la auténtica voz de Dios, así que debe ser seguido por todos.
El Dharma trae bondad a todos; confiere dicha (ananda) aquí y en el más allá. (Dharma Vahini, Cap. 13)

 

Always love and follow only truth; falsehood is never beneficial. Some people may respect, but you will find that no one honors falsehood, deceit, and injustice all the time. On the contrary, everyone respects truth, honesty, integrity, and justice. Who is a divine person (devatha)? It is just a name for the person who observes truth as their vow (vratha) in daily living. The right conduct (dharma) as prescribed in the scriptures (Vedas) is tested, proven and capable of standing the test of time. It is impartial and just. Faith in it grows with practice. The worship of the Divine must follow the rules prescribed in the Scriptures (Vedas); through this means, people get strengthened in leading a righteous (dharmic) life. This dharma is the command of the Lord; it is the authentic voice of God, so it might as well be followed by all. Dharma brings goodness to all; it confers bliss (ananda) here and hereafter.
